Android Engineering Lead

After focussing on iOS for our first year, Detour is ready to bring it's technology stack to Android. If you're interested in coming up with great solution how to share code across Android and iOS platforms and are exciting about implementing great user experiences, help us lead the development of our Android client.

Preferred Skills

• You have 5+ years of software development experience. You also have something cool (code, an app, etc.) to show off.
• You shipped at least one Android app to the Play store that you're proud of
• You love and understand user experience and can help craft an experience that will delight our users and content creators
• You prefer readable over clever code and are familiar with Java & Android's best practices and stay up with the latest frameworks
• Strong communication skills is a must
