Because of the varying hours of the restaurants on the route, there are several windows during which it’s best taken to catch all the stops along the route while they’re open. Ideal times to take his tour are: Mondays and Tuesdays after 4pm;
Wednesday - Saturday between 10:30 and 12:30pm or after 4pm.This Detour has several stops where you may wish to purchase food: Normandy Farm Bakery, O-Bar Oyster House, Henry’s, and McCrady’s Tavern -- so bring your wallet and come hungry!
Because Charleston is a top food destination - many of its restaurants are very busy - especially during the spring and summer months! So if you have a little wait, please be patient or if you don’t care to wait, you can always listen to the content outside and then move on.
