The ideal starting time for this Detour is between 12pm and 4pm, on any day of the week. Faneuil Hall closes at 4pm, and the Old North Church closes at 5pm. All bars on the tour are open after 11am and don’t close until after midnight.
You’ll be stopping at 3 bars along this Detour, with an option to add a 4th in nearby Charlestown. Remember to pace yourself, and if you get hungry, all bars have full menus as well.
All bars take credit or cash.
This Detour does not go inside the Old North Church but it is open to visitors. If you’d like go inside, consider bringing some cash as there’s an optional donation when entering.
This Detour ends with an option to travel the short distance by car to historic Warren Tavern in nearby Charlestown. If you don’t already have a Ride-Share app on your phone, you may want to download one before starting the Detour.
